Remember when....

We all used to be little once right? RIGHT. 

Yes that is me with my Dad :-)

So once upon a time I was an innocent kindhearted child.

And then I had to grow up and go to school, live with the crazy people in this world and somehow managed to come out somewhat "normal"

that's exactly what i'm getting at.

I've been to a public school where bullying the "non-populars" was the lunchtime social, a private catholic school that really had no idea what catholic meant but rather wanted to see exactly how much money you could spend to benefit them or how much sport talent you had for them to succeed. I've dated a guy who was too nice, one who practically killed me, and found a guy who tested my limits and my beliefs.

My life in general has been far from perfect and that little bit up there is only the half of it. 

I'm writing a book.

and trust me it's about to get a whole lot crazier!

Love Love LOVE this product!

If you can't already tell....I am in love with a new product!

Derek and I took Dominic to our mall, there's three by us and this is the best one.

When it was my turn to pick places to shop I instantly went into sephora---

I rarely ever spend a lot on products in there, generally I look then walk out, but I have been saving a bit of money for myself to splurge a little!

But down to business!!!!!

As most people know when you are pregnant your hair stops shedding and you get nice thick full luscious hair....well I LOVED THAT!

and after three months post partum my hair fell out...and when I say it fell out I literally mean i would have clumps! - gross right?!

Definitely not fun!

So I wanted that thick hair back since my hair is now oh so very thin...and this product my oh my....

ITS AMAZING!

I came home right away and used it and let my hair air dry because I refuse to use heat on my hair while i'm growing it out.

I was a bit unsure of how the air dry would affect the results but it didnt have any affect. 

My hair feels thicker and fuller and healthier all over!

I am one happy momma :-)

I will  definitely be buying this system from  now on! it even worked with my colored blonde hair! So HUGE pluses! 

Six months!

Here we are! Half a year already!

What a half year it has been for you!

Weighing in at 20 1/2 lbs

and 

26 1/2 inches long!

Man oh man you are going to be one tall boy! - Just like your daddy!

This month was one special month for you because....

#1 it was your first St. Paddy's Day!

Daddy had his friends come over and they all just couldnt stop talking about how adorable you were and how big you had gotten!

and then #2 you took your very first trip to FLORIDA!

You rode on an airplane (in first class!)

 

You were such a good baby-especially since we had to leave our house at 5:30 in the morning!!! (really not a normal thing for you)

Then when we arrived I got to take off your socks and you absolutely LOVED it!

 

You had sunglasses and hats galore! everyone wanted to see you in your baby fedora (thanks cici!)

Personally I think you are the absolute cutest baby :-) But i'm your mom so I am partial to that!

and of course you had this rainbow hat that you wore all the time outside, even in the pool!

We didnt want your baby skin to get burned! Ouch!

And my oh my how much you loved the pool!

The instant you got in you were kicking and trying so hard to swim!

We also went to Cici and Opa's wedding on the beach! 

Palm Island, Florida!

You had on that cute little outfit!

And you danced the night away with Cici! She looked beautiful!

Everyone was always stealing you away from me! Especially your Aunt Megan who just absolutely loves you to pieces! and makes you laugh so much! 

You also dipped your feet in the OCEAN for the VERY FIRST TIME!!!!

Once your feet dug into the sand you absolutely got 100 times more excited! I can only imagine you thinking "where did my feet go?!"

And your little bottom got so wet that you ended up being a naked baby! --- Which you had no problem with :-)

This is absolutely my favorite picture from the trip! On the beach your buddy Dave McGrath played his guitar for the wedding and he let you try to play as well!

Cutest thing ever!

My music man indeed!---you get that from your momma :-)

You had a great week in Florida! But we did have to come back!

-After all daddy did miss you like crazy!

Who couldnt miss this cutie pie!

Currently we are trying to feed you peas but you still love your applesauce, bananas, and sweet potatoes

I dont blame you though-the peas look gross!

I can't believe it's 6 months!

I just want to freeze this time! It's such a fun age with you, finding your toes and hands, trying to crawl and being able to push yourself backwards and in a circle! You're growing too fast and my heart just skips a beat every time you place your little hand on mine, it's too precious!

I know you will have to grow up and get bigger, but this age is just too precious to not miss!

5 Months!

We've hit it! 5 months old! and boy did it come fast!

I'm is still recovering from your first Christmas! and of course I'm busy with all of my jobs!!!

But you always come first!

You spend lots of time with Grandma and cousin Blake and you just LOVE to stare at your cousin and now you watch whatever he does!

You've even figured out how to take pictures on mommies phone! Now I always find little pictures of your face like these :)

You are such a little cutie!

You love to work hard on all of your skills; you work and work and work until you've fully mastered that skill! 

You have certainly figured out how to spin the excersaucer toys!

And on February 8th we celebrated Daddy's birthday!!! 22 years old! 

We all went to Grandma and Grandpas house and had cookie cake! You wanted so badly to grab it from me and your daddy but we wouldnt let you! 

Mommy just loves to capture every moment with you possible! You never know when you may want to look back and see all the things youve learned and how far you have come!

Daddy took this while mommy was at work (don't worry you're just leaning against he couch) 

Standing is your favorite! You absolutely hate sitting down!

Remember that turtle from christmas? Well it's one of your favorite toys! You love throwing it on the floor and pressing the buttons to create music!

And we borrowed your cousin, Hailee's walker because you liked the one at grandma's so much!

You still like being in your moby wrap and help me cook dinner all the time! (you always want the meal though)

You are just a happy baby this month, learning so much so fast!

You've learned to roll all the way over and now I can't leave yo by yourself or else you get into everything!

You are learning to crawl and almost have the leg and hand push up down together! SOON! Then mommy and daddy will have to baby proof!

and you sit up almost by yourself!

Oh and I almost forgot to mention that you know your name!  

You now turn when mommy says "Dominic!"

And you still love being a naked baby! (I think you try to say cheese when I take pictures of you!)

We're still working on the food in mouth thing but so far you have had:

Applesauce

and 

Bananas

(I even let you have a taste of bread and a sweet potato fry!)

Month 5 has been a success in learning and growing!

We are so proud of you and we can't wait to see how you react to the events coming this month!
