19 and counting isn't just a show..... ;-)

19 more days left until the little munchkin officially hits 40 weeks. But I can't let him go over that day because then over half my family will be on a cruise so im set to motivate him out early!
I just read an article about Jessica Simpson and her baby weight and it made me think wow 25 lbs ive gained isn't that bad. It's all baby. I don't indulge in things I don't need. I don't binge or over eat heavily.
I've always been this way so even when I'm pregnant I'm still going to be this way :-)
But she gained over 60 lbs, my cousin gained over 70, and I know a woman who gained almost 100.....to me that's just insane. They tell you from the start that healthy weight gain is 25-35 lbs. and that's just for someone of normal weight. In early years they told you to only gain 15-25 because everyone worried about their figure (but they also smoked and drank) and years ago I'm pretty sure they didn't care about how much they were gaining.....which brings me to another topic. How in hell did they induce a woman who was way overdue? Isn't it unhealthy for a baby to stay inside of you too long? And if it isn't then why bother inducing us now?
I just have too many questions!

Down to the final straw

3-4 days a week working. 19-20 days of pregnancy left (I am not going over my due date). No money in my bank account.
I just need to have my son. Relax on the couch. Be able to do insanity. Lose the baby weight!

It's a huge countdown. I can't wait.

24 days and counting!

I have my belly bandit, my hip shrinkx, my babies little monster Halloween costume, and I think in 24 days (more or hopefully less) I may be ready for him to come.
I still have so many little things to get.....but at the same time I wonder if those things are even needed.
Like pads for the babies bassinet. I completely get the sheet, but a pad? If he has a diaper on and he's only so small.....how on earth is he going to leak it everywhere?
I'm probably just thinking like a first time mom. Maybe I need more research.
Research about everything!
I guess that's what I will be doing today!

Insomnia

Has anyone ever mentioned that pregnancy + sickness = no sleep, exhausted eyes, migraines, and annoyance?

Well I can bet that if someone had told me all of this before I got pregnant I would probably have gotten a surrogate.

I can't take it anymore! I'm going insane and seeing stars because I haven't slept in so long and I cant fall asleep.

Of course it doesn't help that my boyfriend sees it fit to stay out until 6 am or later after partying (we live in a college town) which is no excuse.

I'm just fed up. Completely.

Hospital visits, needles, and charge cards

Last night while I was at work I noticed my stomach (the complete full stomach ) was completely hard and I was having pains throughout it.
At first I didn't really think much. I figured it was just my normal Braxton hicks. But when it didn't go away I called my doctor.
Low and behold they had me go straight to triage which meant I had to leave work.
When I arrived they hooked up the tummy listeners and of course Dominic kicked them. He kicks everything.
I was having contractions every 4-5 minutes and they weren't slowing down.
They gave me 2 liquid IV's and watched me for 2 1/2 hours to see if the contractions were being caused by dehydration.
That must have been the case because they allowed me to leave around 11.

Such a crazy night because once I got home I had such a terrible migraine that I could not fall asleep.
And today I realized that the needle they stuck in my arm for the IV left a huge bruise that hurts.

Don't get me wrong, I want Dominic to come early. But he needs to wait just 2-3 more weeks. I still have to prepare!!!!

Sick and tired

Being pregnant and sick is possibly the worst thing on the planet.
The medicine you can take doesn't work, and you want to take medicine your not allowed to but that'd be so unsafe.
So your stuck being sick and stuck in the middle of deciding what to do. Call the doctor? Get put on hold for a fe hours? Or just take what you think is best?

Oh the difficulties.

9 months ;-)

I know it may not look like it but I am 9 months pregnant :-)

9 months on the run!

I'm 4 weeks away from my due date and I can't be any happier.....or sicker!
According to my doctor I have a great end of summer virus that is making me unable to work (because my job is in a restaurant and around people). So I am stuck inside watching too much tv and wishing I could work (that's new)!

I still have so much to do before this little boy arrives! I haven't even gotten him room fully ready. But once I do I will post pictures.

I did however put in my order for my belly wrap (belly bandit-like Kourtney Kardashian) and the shrinkx for hips system so I can get my body back after he comes out! Fingers crossed that they work like everyone says they do!

That's about it for now but soon to come I will have baby pictures, belly pictures, and ideas for anyone who is looking for a new style! Fall is coming! Time go darken up!
